Josh Snow had an idea that he thought would transform the way we recruit using job boards. He was not a TA professional, indeed he was a finance guy but had worked a lot with TA.  He also recruited a lot and decided to pursue that idea.....

So, why did a Head of Finance at a major telco suddenly think "I want to do a TA Tech startup"

Josh shares with us his idea, where it worked and where it failed.  He also shares some brilliant insights into being a hiring manager and how he worked as 'the finance guy' for the TA team and helped them build business cases for change with hard evidence and what you need to think about if you are planning a start up.

Andrea Kirby

Andrea Kirby has been working in HR and Talent Acquisition for over 20 years across industries including legal, financial services, consultancy, risk management and high-end retail. 

Andrea has worked for major corporations as a Recruiter in both the UK and Australia. 

ZiChuan Lim

ZiChuan has been in the recruitment industry since 2005. He worked for 7 years "on the desk" in both agency and in house roles attracting talent to some of Australia's most recognised companies.

In 2012 ZiChuan was one of the first people in Australia to move into the Talent Acquisition Operations space. 

With experience across volume, assessment centre and executive recruiting, she has led teams, executed projects in TA transformation, implementing ATS and employer branding projects.

 

With a huge passion for TA and building community, she is now the founder and Director of Talent Table, a collaborative community of interest across talent acquisition, HR and People Analytics in the APAC region. 

Talent Table has a community platform, presents large conferences and small events and learning labs for the TA community. 

Since then he has led projects across Australia, SE Asia and India gaining deep experience in vendor assessment and selection, decision support/business case development, TA Tech implementation and optimisation, robotic process automation (RPA), AI model requirements, offshoring and TA reporting and analytics.

Now a Director with Talent Tech Solutions, Zi consults on transformation projects, tech implementation and people analytics.
